Saturday, January 17, 2009 ( "Can throw down the old clothes?" @ 7:47 PM ) Class photo before we set off for the newspaper collection. Notice Nicholas whacking me with a water bottle?  My group started off with block 502 followed by 501 then 509. First floor that we collected at block 502 had SO MUCH newspapers!!! One lady gave a huge pile of newspapers and obviously i appointed the muscle-man in my group to carry it. I split my group into smaller groups of 3 and Jollyn was the other member of my group! I chose her cause of her sweet melodious voice which can inspire the residents of bedok to donate everything they can. lol, she looks like a hamster in this picture!!! The 3 of us - Sorry Jollyn - its time to grow taller! (the guys stole the limelight this time) This was the floor in the first block where there were piles of newspapers! FLOOR 5!   This photo is super hilarious!!! Everyone is in their own world!(Shi min one best!She was in her own dreams) The proper one after 3 takes - Some inappropriate behavoir being exhibited by Kah meng and Alvin. (Notice the thing alvin is holding? Got hidden meaning one ok!) Funniest moment: It was definitely me on the "wheelbarrow" thing which shannon "took". KO kept shaking me in the wheelbarrow then i was so scared i kept laughing lol. And nicholas knocked into the incense holder twice lol!!!.   Zhan hui was pissed with me cause he needed a trolley and i refused to walk the trolley to their block and ask them to bring the stuff to me "by hook or by crook". then he hung up on me...so i saw him and chaiyong removing the newspaper from the trolley then i go there help them...hahaha.. they pretended to be angry but it was all a conspiracy. Jollyn knocked into the wall and she started crying then we gave her ice pack to numb her head...Met many nice people during the collection today.The nicest were the Indian group who were very friendly to us when we asked for their old clothes. When we left the block, they called us because they had 1 more bag of clothes and we were lazy to walk up so we asked them to throw down from the 2nd or 3rd storey. Hahahah! and they did! Another mother and son team helped us bring down the newspapers. Sweet :) The lady was extremely good hearted :) Loading was quite fun, free swinging of the bags into the truck. After that went to Botak Jones for lunch and Mr.Gan nicely treated us to drinks. :). Here are some other pictures that i took.
