Sunday, May 31, 2009 ( Aquarama 2009! @ 8:00 PM )                  Went to Aquarama 09 today with nicholas and kenneth. It's held at Suntec City Convention Hall. Hmm... the ticket this year is quite a pinch man... $8... never had to pay to enter cause i am always participating. haha. It was seriously super duper cool to see all the different varieties of freshwater and saltwater fishes...Got a few highlights like the Super rare Blue Eye Panaque, new species of fish that looks like the insect "silverfish", Zebra plecos, a GEX tank which houses both goldfish and clownfish together, Baby arowana, the bettas were particularly impressive this show... solid quality...Oh, almost forgot, got jellyfish, Albino arowana etc etc...i took a lot of photos with my camera, nic brought his camera but left the batteries at home charging LOL. Shall let my pictures do the talking :):) After the show went to have lunch with twins and their dad... Pepper Lunch, think its the second time i have eaten pepper lunch...It's holidays now... and its time to get my motor going... :/ 0 comments Saturday, May 30, 2009 ( CAN!24hr Marathon @ 9:10 PM )  Last day of school term ended with CAN!24hr marathon... after school went home to change before meeting clarence in school to help him set-up his stall called "Da Small Fry". Shannon asked me to go swimming with them but no choice couldn't go cause had to help out at the fries stall... So clarence, nic and I went to buy the stuffs from sheng shiong to prepare to fry fries... hahaha... after setting up i went to play tennis with Ms Kwan and Mr.Daniel Chung , so fun! i simply love playing tennis with teachers cause there's this mini crowd that gathers... also played awhile with mr.thong 1 on 1. haha... For the run, i didn't run much cause i was soooo tired from tennis, played from like 6pm to 3+am!!! wow, my legs couldnt move and had to frequently ask people to stretch for me. hahaha. The band people popped by our stall and it was so funny how xin yun and I went to "steal" drinks and bread, and she put chocolates into my teh tarik -.- haha. All of us knocked out and slept in the tennis court until this morning la...was such a cool night yesterday :) Anyway, something really funny happened, i fell asleep on the court and when i sleep i dont close my eyes (just in case u people dont know, i sleep with my eyes open)... then nicholas realised my eyes were open for damn long and he thought i was stoning to the sky... then he went to wave and wave and tried to distract me but it didnt work, and asked me questions, no answer... and he thought i was dead HAHAHAH...finally he woke me up to make sure i was alive. lol... I really must start to treasure the time i spend with my classmates man!... cause this yr will end in a blink and all of us will go different paths, but i hope we'll still keep in contact (that i am sure!). I am so excited for Aquarama tomorrow! gonna take loads of pics with Aunt's camera :):) 0 comments Thursday, May 28, 2009 ( Poor service man! @ 9:09 PM ) Wednesday was interview day! So went E club and had to interview like every one who was running for the Board, and was like omgoodness so many people, like neverending... exhausting interviews and boring too.! after BOD went tampines 1 to eat at cafe cartel as well as to discuss the results... THE SERVICE THERE IS LIKE rubbish! Pearlyn, Wanting, Miss Wong and i ordered a seafood jumbo patter which is like for 5 but 4 of us ordered it... then when the food came, it had chicken wings and drumlets and like potatoes ... so stupid... and miss wong doesnt eat red meat... so we asked the waitress 3 times if it was really the jumbo seafood patter, and she said yes, so we started eating the 2 pieces of fish that came with it... after like 3minutes, the assistant manager came up to our table and told us that they served wrongly and asked if we would like to replace it, so obviously i said yes since miss wong doesnt eat red meat...waited another 10+ minutes and the patter came with some fried scallops, potatoes, coleslaw, calamari, and some miserable shrimps... we thought "HUH, THIS COSTS $52?".... then we checked the menu and it said it has Fish etc etc... so we asked the manager, and he said "the fish was served just now" (in the wrong patter), hence they not serving now since we ate it just now.. i was like omgoodness is this service?!? miss wong scolded them"so we SHOULD pay for your mistakes?!?" (yea baby!)... and then the stupid manager said the "fish is frying" (lol, obviously lying cause he was scared)... so i told miss wong to cancel the order cause i scared they add extra ingredients(like their saliva) in our food, so we cancelled our patter and desserts, paid and left (the 4 of us hungry la, the rest had their meal )... worst thing was that the sauce we used also wasn't changed to a new one, they just put the old sauce container ... pissing. Walked to fish and co!!! (was greeted finely with some fine and friendly staff), ordered their patter, $60 , although $8 more it was sooooo much more worth it, mussels, prawn, fish, rice, fries, shrimps, calamari... woooo! .... at least our stomachs were filled, after that took train home with joel and when i was back i was sooo exhausted. Thursday : Cohort meeting today, which i find so ridiculous, and so unnecessary... life is getting to become a bore recently with so little shiny things that can cite me up...and after PE nicholas wore the mardi gras red shirt... and i asked him why... he forgot it was thursday today and not friday!!! hahahah... blur block. and i decided to sign up for can marathon after chaiyong's encouragement...collected my t-shirt and other stuff and went to buy MILK with nicholas..hahaha we were laughing abt the 50grams of protein it has in 1litre and i finished almost the whole litre! goodness... played tennis, doubles with sophia against 2 guys who just got promoted to school team, trounced them 6-1,we gave them one game lol... if not they very sad :(. ..... and and and I TOOK MY FIRST PULLUP VIDEO TODAY! did 5! although not super standard its above average la k! lol. excited excited excited for SUNDAY!!! AND AND AND VENUS WILLIAMS CAME FROM MATCH POINTS DOWN TO BEAT LUCIE SAFAROVA IN A 3 SET THRILLER... 7-5 IN THE THIRD! yay!  0 comments Sunday, May 24, 2009 ( Oh happy day! Wooott... we order chocolate souffle(this super amazing cake that has liquid chocolate in the middle and has 1 scoop of vanilla ice cream), Chocolate cheesecake, White granitte milk chocolate, Waffles with chocolate... 7people ate $120 worth of chocolate lol. HAHA. shiook..the chocolate was so super duper sinful. Miss A.wong very nice la... she even wanted us to order somemore chocs :p haha but i guess we were too full of choc. went shopping after that at city hall then went dhoby ghaut to continue shopping. Quite fun :p all the pictures are with evelyn and she's gonna upload it on facebook... wait till u see our chocolate dishes. Heavy rain to start off the day and i felt so fortunate to be one of the few people who came into school totally dry hahaha... chaiyong placed his socks in some science display thing in the sun to dry it lol... and nic was walking around barefooted since his socks were so wet. PE was cancelled :( thought could do some running. haizzz. After school we hung around chatting at the rock climbling area and after hearing what i said , Kenneth thinks i am really sickkk.. lol... that chinese B ponner nic went to sean's house to get something so me and kenneth decided to go train pullupss and to my ultimate disappointment i can only do 3 now :(:(:( Just now went running and tried again and managed to recover to 4. FIRST time eating that stall... noodle + fillet only $1 !!!... but i will probably never eat it again. haha. still prefer the first stall's nasi lemak. I just realised i drank 4 cups of fresh fruit juice today! break i had Rockmelon juice then free period i had Watermelon pineapple juice , and after lunch i had apple carrot... lol. then i just drank hand squeeze orange juice made by my maid. Did some campus survey today and seriously blessed a lot of people... Haha... great experience and eye opener... must really thank Angeline Chua for doing it with me. The Sashimi moriwase was amazing... just chunks and chunks of salmon, yellow tail, swordfish :):)... and we kept eating and eating and eating it. The sashimi is super duper fresh. Then we ate the BBQ pork rolls which were oh so juicy.! wahha...their handrolls have little rice and are stuffed with ingredients. yummy. The grilled prawn with cheese and mayo was delicious too. Oh, they had this raw squid that is mixed in ebi roe, totally special. I didn't order much stuff on the menu cause i was trying to focus most of my stomach space on the yellow tail and the salmon. hehe. Then i went church with this awfully full stomach :p haha. and now i am home. Labour day yesterday was again a wasted day because i spent my entire day sleeping and on the comp, only did 1 AQ :( Yawns. I feel like going for a Mac's Strawberry Milkshake. and by the way, i am going to make a guiness chocolate cake tomorrow and bring it for 16/08 on monday... So hold your breath! 0 comments |
